BIOGRAFIA:

María Eugenia Sueiro is director and production designer. She was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), in 1974. She studied at the Universidad del Cine, and a plastic arts career at the University of Buenos Aires. After finishing her studies, Eugenia worked in commercials for the United States where she met Jorge Sarudiansky, renowned Argentinean production designer, and they began to work together. Eugenia worked almost 20 years as production designer in films such as: "Diarios de motocicleta" (Walter Salles), "El abrazo partido" (Daniel Burman), "Derecho de familia" (Daniel Burman), "Un mundo menos peor" (Alejandro Agresti), "Un año sin amor" (Anahí Berneri), "Gemini" (Albertina Carri), "La mujer sin cabeza" (Lucrecia Martel), "El cerrajero" (Natalia Smirnoff) , "El ciudadano ilustre" (Cohn-Duprat), "Maracaibo" (Miguel Angel Rocca). In 2010 she made her debut feature film: "Nosotras sin mamá" as director and screenwriter. Eugenia is currently working on the postproduction of her second feature film: "El Tío".
