BIOGRAFIA:

Chezhiyan is an Indian director of photography who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. After completing his degree in civil engineering, he began his career as an apprentice to P. C. Sreeram before establishing himself as a director of photography. He made his debut as director of photography with "KALLOORI" in 2007. He won the "Best cinematography" award at the BFI London Film Festival Awards 2013, for the film "PARADESI" (2013) He has worked as a director of photography in numerous documentaries, including a biographical documentary on former president of India APJAbdul Kalam (A Little Dream) and a documentary on prolific writer Tamil T.Jeyakandhan. He recently founded "The Music School". The school publishes books to learn western music through Tamil and English. He received the award for best photography at the Tamil Film Festival 2012 for the short film Kallaththoni '. To Let is his debut film as a director.
