Sophie and Wolfram have been loving each other for a few months and have something in common: they’re both in the terminal stage of a tumour, which will soon kill them. They decide they’ll wait for her imminent death in her apartment, that evokes past, glorious years on the stage. He’s far from his daughters and she’s desperately trying to reach her absent son, while their last days together slip by as the touch of a caress, putting up with the inevitable. This dramatic and most intimate story celebrates the power of human contact and the importance of proudly sucking life until the last, until you’re “alive”.
