BIOGRAFIA:
Alessandra Pedrotti Catoni is a director and producer. She first studied Filmmaking at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, followed by a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Università Statale in Milan. In the year 2000, Alessandra became a passionate student of Tibetan Buddhism. In 2010, she opened a non-profit contemporary art venue in Milan, called Spazio Morris, which she managed for three years. After gaining experience with a range of visual arts media, she decided to return to her great passion: filmmaking and storytelling for movies and documentaries. In 2015, she founded Makarampa Films and was joined a year later by Paola Devalle, as a partner and producer in the company.
