Stefan Avalos was born on 12 August 1968, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. His early life started out with training in classical violin and later began to work in many aspects of the film business, producing and directing commercials for foreign television. In 1993, he wrote, produced and directed his first feature film, The Game.
